Meet our Bolt Bulldog: Chelsea Perry

Here at Bolt PR, we’ve been told we’re a team of bulldogs. We’re energetic, savvy and unstoppable PR professionals who make big things happen for our clients. We accept the compliment and share what it means to be a Bolt Bulldog.

 

Born and raised in SoCal, Chelsea is a social media junkie who joins the Bolt OC team as a Social Media Strategist. After graduating from Cal Baptist University with her B.A. in Communications with a concentration in PR, she launched her career in the creative marketing field. Her experience lies in a number of positions, including interning for a popular travel magazine, and being part of the marketing team for multiple non-profits. Most recently, Chelsea was the Brand Manager for a social good apparel company. Whether she’s writing, editing, posting, or planning, she loves using her unique skill set to take clients’ online presences and social media efforts to the next level. In her free time, she’s indoor rock climbing, cuddling her dog, or indulging her love for seeing new places. She loves interior decorating, burritos, and photography. Answer: I have a hard time choosing just one! I think it’s a tie between Instagram and Pinterest. My passion lies in content creation, so these platforms are a unique way to showcase photos and stories in an aesthetic environment. A picture truly does say a thousand words.

 

Q: Describe yourself in three words.

A: Imaginative. Free-Spirited. Adventurous.

 

Q: Tell us one thing about you that would surprise us.

A: I’ve been a vegetarian since I was in 3rd grade – a total of 17 years without meat!

 

Q: What would you say is your style when it comes to social media?

A: I love thinking outside the box to come up with fresh content. I usually take more of a minimalistic approach and ensure that the feed is aesthetically pleasing, witty, and relatable. I love challenging myself with a client or product that I wouldn’t normally relate to and make it creative and memorable for any user.

 

Q: Do you have a favorite quote/motto?

A: It’s weird not to be weird.
