What an amazing honor it was to be named the February #BoltBulldog! This new reward is given out monthly to team members as part of Bolt’s 10-year anniversary celebration, and the prize is highly coveted – a trip to two of our other offices! I couldn’t wait to pack my bags for #BoltTX and #BoltCA!

Nicole with Dog Rescue Shirt Club
To say my trip started off pawfect would be an understatement – when I arrived in Dallas Monday, I scoped out the team’s awesome co-working space at The Grove and then headed to Klyde Warren Park for a doggie photo shoot with #BoltTX client Dog Rescue Shirt Club. It was awesome to see our photog and social media pro-Rachel in action (assisted by the lovely Jenay). Trying to get a dog to look at the camera with puppies chasing toys and a million other distractions nearby is no joke, y’all!

The food in Dallas did not disappoint. Rachel, Jenay and Sarah welcomed me day one with a delicious pizza lunch at their go-to spot Tutta’s, which is just a short walk from the office. My last dinner made this leg of the trip complete – the whole crew went to Urban Taco for the ultimate Tex-Mex meal on McKinney Ave.

Nicole at The Dirty Cookie
I was blown away by our OC office’s chic marble walls and cool startup vibe, complete with a game room and “living wall.” One of the highlights from my time there was sitting in on planning call for our partner Jouvé. I loved hearing Dawn, Rubina and Mackenzie bounce strategic ideas off each other on the fly! Amanda, Alex and Shareen took me to a truly So-Cal lunch at Urban Plates a bit later, and had me in tears laughing throughout. To wrap up my first day, several of us went to The District for Moscow mules and The Dirty Cookie’s shots of milk. P.S. To The Dirty Cookie, any interest in opening a North Carolina store?!

The team made sure to send me off in style Friday. I had a wonderful lunch with our fierce founder and president Caroline, where we talked everything from toddlers and babies, to big picture agency goals. It was the icing on the cake that the entire office celebrated my visit with a pizza party that afternoon, complete with embarrassing stories, Boomerang fails (and successes!) and wine!
Thanks to everyone at #BoltTX and #BoltCA for making my Bolt Bulldog adventure one I will always smile thinking back on! It was an incredible experience made so much more special feeling at home in two very new places. I’m forever grateful to work with such a dynamic and inspiring team, near and far!
