While the hurricane made landfall over a month ago, south Texas is still working diligently to recover, and will be for a long time to come. Continued support is needed to help our fellow Texans recover from this natural disaster.

We were honored to support our client, Meathead Movers, in providing incredible support to the victims of Hurricane Harvey when they needed it most. In partnership with US Storage Centers, Meathead Movers and our team at Bolt PR called on the community throughout central and southern California to donate new, unused items to their local Meathead Movers warehouse.

We were so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support throughout the state. Our other amazing client, TriDerma, joined the movement and donated over 50 cases of needed skincare items, including baby products, pain cream and other multi-use skincare products.

Media outlets in San Luis Obispo, Fresno, Ventura County and LA/Orange County blasted the news to their networks and encouraged viewers and readers to get involved. As a result, Meathead Movers collected nearly 50,000 lbs of items and transported them to the Lighthouse Church in Houston, Texas.  Meathead Movers CEO Aaron Steed made the drive himself to personally hand-deliver the donated goods and see firsthand the impact these items had on the families affected by Hurricane Harvey.

We’re inspired every day by the selfless acts and contributions made by our clients. As natural disasters continue to wreak havoc in Texas, Florida, The Caribbean and now Puerto Rico, we hope our clients’ stories will inspire others to find ways to help. Every little bit helps. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who has stepped up to support those in need.
