Five Dallas Influencers You Need to Be Following on Instagram

July 22, 2019

Influencers are currently dominating the digital social space – from foodies and fashionistas to lifestyle gurus, everywhere we turn, there’s a new trend you should be following. Instagram offers such a wide variety of content for anyone’s interest, so you’ll never get bored.

With influencer marketing representing a large part of our services at Bolt Public Relations in Dallas, we’ve curated a shortlist of a few of our favorite Dallas influencers in different spaces – each giving a unique glimpse into their lives with their own niche content.

1. Brandon Does Dallas (@BrandonDoesDallas)

Influencer You Should Follow_1

Need to know the new popping spot in Uptown? Or the best bar for a date night in Deep Ellum? Or even try something completely new? Brandon Baker has you covered. As a highly-respected content creator, Brandon has made a name for himself with his witty and well-articulated captions, and super informative blog. He started out as a food blogger but has recently grown into his role as a “lifestyle and ‘all things Dallas’” influencer. You’ll want to follow him to be in-the-know about all the latest trends about restaurants, new bars, menu items and more, but won’t get bored by his content – it’s GORGEOUS.

2. Dallas Love List (@DallasLoveList)

Sarah Mize started her blog about 4 years ago after moving to Dallas from Knoxville, Tennessee. Like Brandon, Sarah definitely deals her hand in digital content creation. However, Sarah focuses on more lifestyle topics, like things to do in Dallas, events and more. She influences her Instagram audience (65,000+ Dallasites) to truly explore the city. More often than not, her recommendations for restaurants are those that are more “behind-the-scenes,” and those she wouldn’t have found had she not been exploring the city with her pup and hubby.

3. Streets Beats Eats (@StreetsBeatsEats)

Casey shares her tips and tricks to navigating life as a twenty-something, and has curated all of her recommendations on her blog and Instagram feed for those in search of the “best” anything – hair place, nail place, restaurant, event, place to study – you name it! Additionally, Casey shares a vulnerable side with her body-positive content, promoting only brands that stand for inclusivity in women and men’s clothing and sizing. She is also remodeling a home and planning a destination wedding – her platform has something everyone can relate to!

4. Lonestar Southern (@LonestarSouthern)

Lonestar Southern, better known as your newest go-to fashion Pinterest board, is a curation of Kate’s faves for the professional world, your next workout, date ideas and more. As a University of Texas grad, Kate started her blog in her “Writing for Public Relations” class and later continued it through the summer as a hobby. Now, Lonestar Southern is her full-time job, and she enjoys sharing everything from lifestyle tips and tricks to fashion ideas. Make sure to follow her for the best sales at Nordstrom, or for the right heels to wear to your best friend’s wedding!

5. The Miller Affect (@TheMillerAffect)

Are you a new parent seeking tips for newborns? Or a Dallas local that wants the best travel recommendations? Amanda Miller Pollard is your girl. She often posts updates on her now 8-month-old daughter, Miller, and includes the best products moms can buy either in Dallas or online to her blog! (Check out her latest month-to-month update on her daughter here). You can also count on Amanda for fashion tips, cooking ideas and new workout trends.

With the nation’s largest arts district, the best frozen margaritas within miles of any other city (since we invented them!) and so many great places to visit, Dallas influencers have a lot to offer, and you can count on them for the best recommendations. Jump into the content rabbit hole – once you put your phone down, you’ll be left inspired, motivated and ready to explore our great city of Dallas!
