There's a long-running stigma around internships that leads toa belief that all interns do is staple papers and get their co-workers coffee, and we’re ready to put it to rest. While we appreciate the caffeine heaven that is a venti macchiato, that’s not something we at Bolt rely on our interns to do. Instead, we partner with each person individually and focus on advancing their public relations and digital marketing skills so that they enter into their careers knowing what to expect and possessing the tools needed to succeed.
To continue honing our interns' expertise, our team assigns them daily tasks to complete. This creates an opportunity for you to experience what you can expect in an entry-level position. Rather than sending our interns on a coffee run or to grab our lunches, we intend to show you what working in an agency is like. That means you’ll be doing the same tasks that our Bulldogs do and receive feedback and tips on how you could improve your skills. Our main goal will always be to help you grow and develop your abilities to prepare for your first job in this industry after college.
At Bolt, we offer extensive public relations and digital marketing services for our clients. Understanding how digital marketing can impact public relations, and vice versa, is crucial for success, so we ensure that our interns get enough experience on both sides. One day you could be working on a media list for a client, and the next you could be developing a content calendar for another. These two industries collide in such complex and beautiful ways and we want to teach YOU the ins and outs of both!Ready to become a Bulldog?
